You can now practise even more verbs with the Russian Verb Blitz app, which has been updated to contain almost a hundred imperfective present / perfective future conjugations. Download the app here.

Likewise, our Scottish Gaelic app has been updated with new topics and some improvements to the activities. Download the app here.

Note that existing users simply need to update their apps in iTunes to get the updated versions for free.

The latest version of RusMate Russian Vocabulary Booster has been released, including brand new topics, new words for existing topics, and a whole new tracking system so you can keep tabs on what you’ve been learning and how well you’ve done in the exercises. As always, full native speaker support is provided for the words. 

The update is free for existing users of the app, and otherwise available for the same great price of £2.39 from the iTunes App Store at this link.

RusMate will soon be online in version 1.2, which includes some brand new topic areas, as well as other improvements such as a new topic selection screen. Those who already have RusMate will be able to download the update for free via iTunes and the App Store. For new users, the price remains at a bargain £1.79 / $2.99 / 2,39 €, making it one of the best value language learning tools for iPhone / iPod Touch.

We already introduced a brand new game – Picture Pairs – into version 1.1, and we have lots of plans for future improvements and updates – stay tuned!

Note that RusMate also has two little sister apps for Norwegian and Japanese learners, Norwegian Mate and Japanese Mate. These two apps are text-based flashcard systems, and we hope to add a Russian version soon for more advanced vocab.
